Follow the steps below to initialize your hardware device, create a secure recovery, and connect to the demo exchange. This official start page guides you through safe setup and quick trading basics.
Connect your Trezör device
Plug the device into a trusted machine using the supplied USB cable. Confirm the device model on the screen.
Create a new wallet
Use the device UI to create a new wallet. Choose a strong PIN and write down the recovery words in order on physical media — never store them digitally.
Verify & secure
Confirm the first and last recovery words on your device. Update firmware when prompted and enable passphrase protection if you need an extra layer.
Connect to demo market
Open the Trezör web app, connect the device, and access the demo trading dashboard to practise without risk.
Hardware-backed keys
Private keys are generated and stored on-device; signing happens inside the secure element.
Open-source firmware
Auditable, transparent firmware with community reviews and frequent security updates.
